Enid, Oklahoma - Tammi Lawayne Sisk, age 66, passed away on July 11, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma. Born on October 18, 1958, in Waterloo, Iowa, Tammi was the daughter of James and Betty (Caylor) Carnahan.
Tammi graduated high school in Edgemont, South Dakota. Much of her adult life was spent in Antler, North Dakota, where she brought six children into this world with their father, Stewart Sisk. She dedicated herself to the roles of homemaker and caregiver, all while working on the family farm.
Tammi actively involved herself and her children in Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church in their rural community. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her journey on this earth, and it shaped how she faced life's challenges — with resilience and strength. She later moved to Enid, Oklahoma, where she enjoyed spending time with her three dear Chihuahuas, traveling and riding motorcycle with her partner, Mirl Johnson.
Tammi lived a life that touched the hearts of many different people in different ways. She was a beloved daughter, a strong and supportive wife, a devoted mother, and a selfless and caring friend to many. She was known for her creative spirit, and she found joy and expression through crafting and sewing. She also enjoyed reading, music and dancing.
Tammi is survived by her children — Devin Sisk, Adena Dorman, Kristin Mohr, Tessa Tosco, Kaia Sisk, and Kimberly Keith. Her life-giving legacy will continue through her twelve grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Betty Welch and James Carnahan.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
