Sue Armstrong Obituary

Sue Armstrong, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, since 1945, died February 13, 2025. She was 91 years of age.

She is survived by her children, Carla Arnold and David Sieger; her daughters-in-law, Carol Sinor and Pat Armstrong; her son-in-law, Jerry Arnold; and grandchildren, Heather and Josh Arnold, Ginny Tousignant, and Dustin Armstrong.

Sue was born on a farm in Enid, Oklahoma, July 26, 1933. She remained a farm girl all of her life with a love for animals and a strong work ethic. After raising two children, she attended nursing school at the University of Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her loving and caring heart and intelligence was evident throughout her nursing career at Presbyterian Hospital, The University of New Mexico Student Health Center, and the Medical Department at Sandia National Laboratories.

Sue was happily married to Robert Armstrong for many years. Their faith in God was always a priority in their lives. Sue loved the ocean, and she and Robert loved to travel. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and best friend. Sue was a feisty, fireball of love whose tenacious spirit got her through difficult times in life. She was caring and kind. She will be remembered with love and always missed.
