Ronald Dee "R.D." Kramer Obituary
Ronald Dee "R.D." Kramer was born Feb. 24, 1938, in Enid to John and Eva Kramer. He departed from his earthly life Oct. 21, 2016, at his home outside of Loyal, surrounded by family.
R.D. lived outside of Loyal his whole life, farming and ranching with his father, John, and later with his son, Rodney, and grandson, Randy.
He graduated from Loyal in 1956.
He married Shirley Fisher on Feb. 1, 1958. They had three children, Rodney, Lisa, and Lori.
R.D. was involved in FFA, receiving both his State and American FFA degrees. He showed various animals, and he had a special love for his cows and baby calves.
He served his community in many ways: as a member of Lomega Lion's Club, where he served as president; a member of Loyal Evangelical Church; Kingfisher Elks Lodge; Oklahoma Wheat Growers Association; and Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association. He was also on the Kingfisher County Fair Board.
He is survived by one son, Rodney Kramer and wife, Sandy, of Loyal; daughters, Lisa Kramer, of Norman; and Lori Morrison, and husband, Mac, Enid; five grandchildren: Sheila Kramer; Randy Kramer and wife, Chrystal; McKenna, Tyler, and Maci Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Kramer; one sister, Darlene Kramer; and his parents, John and Eva Kramer.
The service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at Loyal Evangelical Church.
Memorial donations may be made to Lomega Lion's Club or Russell-Murray Hospice.
