Pat McEachern Anderson, 85, died on February 21, 2020, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, at Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater. Her services will be at 2 p.m. on February 28, 2020, at the Garber First United Methodist Church in Garber, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral and Cremation is in charge of the service.

Pat was born on November 18th, 1934, in Mulhall, Oklahoma, to Arthur David and Audene Augusta Kennemer Kerr. In 1941, the family moved to Wellington, Kansas, and her father, "Shorty," went to work for Boeing in Wichita until the end of WWII. In 1945, they moved to Morrison, Oklahoma. Pat graduated valedictorian in 1952 from Morrison High School and attended Oklahoma State University. She worked at Boeing during the summer.

On April 16th, 1954, Pat married Delwin "Dink" Lewis McEachern in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They lived in Wichita and Oklahoma City before moving to Garber, where Dink got a coaching job. Pat returned to OSU and received her BA in Speech Correction and Education in 1964. Pat started teaching Kindergarten in 1969 and then received her Master's degree from Phillips University in 1975. Pat later became the Elementary Principal and retired in 1992.

Dink and Pat welcomed their children Susan K in 1963 and Scott Kerr in 1966.

After Dink died in 1985, Pat married Donald E. Anderson on March 31, 1991 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They made their home in Garber until moving to a farm north of Stillwater. In 2000, they opened a new funeral home in Tonkawa Oklahoma. Don passed away on June 17th, 2006.

Pat was active in the Oklahoma Eastern Star, Oklahoma Education Association, National Education Association, and Retired Teachers of Oklahoma. Pat was an avid reader, loved to travel, drink coffee, sew and spend time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren, Kinzy and Zac, were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Arthur David Kerr and Audene Augusta Kennemer Kerr, and stepmother Loyce Kerr; one sister, Mona Lou Kerr Peters.

Survivors are daughter, Susan K "Susie" McEachern of Perkins Oklahoma; son, Scott Kerr McEachern, wife Dena McEachern of Enid, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Kinzy Sophia McEachern and Zacharias Dink McEachern of Enid, Oklahoma; one brother, James Michael "Mike" Kerr, wife Cheryl Kerr of Morrison, Oklahoma; two stepsisters, Zona Quick of Morrison and Johnna Hasenfratz, husband Dan of Stillwater. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
