Broken Arrow, OK - April 21, 1931 - August 21, 2025
LuEtta Miiller Minton left this world to be with her Lord in Heaven on August 21, 2025. She was born on her parents' farm near Drummond, Okla., on April 21, 1931.
LuEtta graduated from Drummond High School and Enid Business College. She worked at the bank in Drummond for five years until she married her husband, Dwight, in 1956 and moved to Enid. They met on a blind date arranged by her cousin and enjoyed 58 wonderful years together.
In 1960, they moved to Tulsa, where she continued her banking career until the two children were born. When they were in Junior High School, she began working as a clerical secretary at Nathan Hale High School. After twenty years, she retired and was ready to spend her time being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother — also, to spend time each day in her beautiful backyard, which she called her sanctuary. LuEtta was always active in her church as a Children's Sunday School teacher, pianist, and choir member.
LuEtta was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mamie Miiller; her husband, Dwight; a brother, Harold; and three grandchildren. She was survived by her son, Craig and wife Becky of Wagoner, OK; daughter, Janet and husband Mike of Broken Arrow, OK; four granddaughters, Rebekah, Sarah, Emily, and Brooklynn; two grandsons, J.W. and John; seven great-grandchildren; niece, JoAnn Webber; and nephew, Gene Miiller.
She was so proud of her grandchildren, and it was the joy of her life to attend their school and church activities. She loved planning and preparing large dinners for all the family for each one's birthday and all the holidays.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 28th, 2025, at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 S 129th E. Ave. The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on August 29, 2025, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Garden of Remembrance, 6500 S 129th E Ave.
