Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - A celebration of life for Polly Priest, 83, of Waukomis, will be Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. before the service at Anderson-Burris. Arrangements made by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Polly was born on July 15, 1941, in Ringling, Oklahoma, to Lillard and Zella (Blackwell) Davis and passed away on June 15, 2025, in Oklahoma City.

Polly graduated from Capital Hill High School. Her first job was at the Redskin Theater. She then worked as a dental assistant, and after that she worked for several years at Western Electric.

Polly married Teddie "Ted" Priest on January 13, 1962. Once Polly moved to Waukomis, she stayed at home as a homemaker to raise her children. She enjoyed league bowling with Ted, and she was an avid reader of Danielle Steele books.

Polly is survived by her sister, Betty LeGrange and her husband John, of Oklahoma City; son, Ted Alan Priest and wife Ann Priest, of New York; son, Michael Ray Priest of Edmond; daughter, Shelly Leigh Skinner and husband Tony of Enid; grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Paige, Hope, Quinlan, Grady, and Margo; and great-grandchildren, Addelynn, Leah, and Erika.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lillard and Zella; her husband, Ted Priest; brother, Lonnie Ray Davis; and daughter-in-law, Jill Priest.
