Kenneth Lloyd Taylor, 93, of Newport News, Virginia, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. Kenneth was born March 26, 1931, to John Max and Althea Sprague Taylor in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Kenneth married Bessie Edna Josephine Fine August 1, 1955, at Randolph Air Force Base. They later moved to Pond Creek in 1966.

He was a custom cutter for 35 years. Kenneth retired at the age of 62. Kenneth and Edna loved traveling to see their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to dance, eat ice cream, be outside, and always wore a hat.

Kenneth is survived by his two sons, Lloyd Taylor and Mark Taylor of Pond Creek, OK; five daughters, Elaine Behne, Grafton, VA, Vivian Taylor, Hampton, VA, Janet Knudson, Newport News, VA, Ada Murray, Smithfield, VA, and Sarah Arms, Hampton, VA; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Edna; his parents; three brothers; and two sons, Glen and Melvin.

Visitation for Kenneth will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, with Pastor Heath Buster officiating. Interment will follow at the Pond Creek Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the Vance Air Force Base Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the Pond Creek Cemetery Association.
