Edmond, OK - February 22, 1944 - January 7, 2026

Skip Baird, 81, passed away on January 7, 2026, in Edmond, OK. He was born February 22, 1944, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Kenneth Baird and Lois Wade-Baird and Ruth Baird.

He married Darla Jenkins in 1963 and together they shared 62 years of blessed marriage, raising two children, Denise and Brandon Baird. His legacy continues through his four grandchildren, Tyler Sivigliano, Ashton Sivigliano, Carly Baird, and Morgan Baird, and six great-grandchildren, Kyler Sivigliano, Gia Sivigliano, Maisie Jackson, Jemarcus Jackson Jr., Jaliyah Jackson and Aspen Sivigliano.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Sandy, Tom, and Stan Baird. He is survived by his wife Darla; children Denise and Brandon; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his mother Ruth; and sisters Cindy, Ruthann, and Debbie.

His family and friends will cherish him always and he will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and man of integrity. He will eternally remain in our hearts and be our forever guiding angel.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. January 31, 2026, at Smith & Kernke Chapel, 14624 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City.
