Judith Louise Fagan Obituary

The funeral service celebrating the life of Judith Louise Fagan will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at First United Methodist Church of Enid. Graveside will follow at the Waukomis Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening, 6:00 to 7:00, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Judy was born April 17, 1952, in Oklahoma City, OK to Dale and Betty Minton.

She married Rick Fagan on March 25, 1972. Judy graduated from Phillips University in 1974 with a Bachelor's in Speech Pathology. That year she began her lifelong teaching career in Guthrie. After seven years she moved to Enid, where she taught at Monroe and Taft Elementary and Longfellow Junior High schools until her retirement in 2013. She continued as an Early Childhood Coordinator with the Enid Public Schools System until 2019. Judy loved music, gardening, reading, being an organist and working with children.

Judy was preceded in death by Rick, her parents and her special Aunt Linnie. She is survived by her sister Ann Lorenz; daughter, Julie Thibodeau and husband Jason of Stillwater; son James Fagan and wife Erin of Aledo, Texas; and five grandchildren, Seth, Joshua, and Karis Thibodeau and Marlowe and Samuel Fagan.

The family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Judy's name to the First United Methodist Church of Enid and Aledo United Methodist Church's Youth Programs. Online condolences at www.andersonburris.com.
