Enid, Oklahoma - September 26, 1942 - July 25, 2025

A visitation for friends and family of Joy Ann Posey will be from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Joy Ann Posey, 82, of Enid joined our Heavenly father and her family on Friday, July 25, 2025. Joy was born on September 26, 1942, to Robert (Bob) and Frances Dobbs.

Growing up she enjoyed barrel racing, playing basketball, and bowling. She graduated from Kremlin, Oklahoma. She married and raised three boys, Brad, Pete, and Wesley. Her best memories were camping with her three boys and spending time with her grandchildren as they grew up. She worked at St. Mary's and NORCE, tending to adults and children with special needs.

Joy is survived by Brad and Leslie Wichert, Enid; Weylin (Pete) and Charlene Wichert, Enid; and Wesley Wichert, Billings; five Grandchildren: Tylor Donley, Kandis Wichert, Lindsey Schuermann, Colton Wichert, and Cody Wichert; eight Great-Grandchildren: Haylee, Brody, Devin, Brady, Keaton, Deagon, Toby, and Sutton.

Joy is proceeded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother, and grandson Dillon Dean.
