Norman, OK - Jerry Lea Scott, 66, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 5, 2025. Born on August 10, 1959, to Robert (Bob) and Mary Louise Crawford, and raised in Ames, Oklahoma, Jerry lived a life overflowing with love, laughter, and faith.

Jerry found great joy in her children and in being "Nana" to her beloved grandchildren. Her laughter brought joy and comfort to everyone blessed to know her.

She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Louise Crawford, of Ames; her daughter, Brandi Renfro and husband Lance of Ponte Vedra, Florida; her son, Robert (Trey) Scott III and wife Kathleen of Norman; and her cherished grandchildren, Kade, Robert, and Sophia. She is also survived by her sisters, Sherry Ann Gray of Waukomis and Karey Jean Crawford of Ames; her brother, Larry Crawford of Oklahoma City; and her former husband and friend, Robert (Bob) Scott Jr., of Ames.

Jerry is preceded in death by her father, Robert (Bob) Crawford, and her sister, Terry Lynn (Crawford) Seay.

Jerry will be remembered for her faith, her generous heart, and her joyful spirit. Her love, laughter, and legacy will forever live on in those she cherished.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ames Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor, share memories, and rejoice in the hope she held so dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Jerry's life by making a donation to a church of their choice in her memory.
