Eva H. "Granny B" Bridgeman, 94, of Pratt, Kan., died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Parkwood Village in Pratt, Kan. She was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Lincoln County, Okla., the daughter of Harry and Elsie (Bowman) Tucker. On June 9, 1937, she married Ross E. Bridgeman in Enid, Okla. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1985. Eva was a farm wife and worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid for over 20 years. Eva was a farm wife and worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid for over 20 years. The family lived in Zenda, Kan., from 1952 to 1960, then they moved back to Oklahoma. In 2000, she moved to Cunningham, Kan., and wrote a column for the Cunningham Courier. She is survived by a son, Ronald (Ruth Ann) Bridgeman of Zenda, Kan.; daughter, Donna (Karl) Werner of Zenda, Kan.; seven grandchildren, David Bridgeman, Andy Bridgeman, JeanAnn Marquez, Lisa Young, Karla Westerman, Janene Gillen and Karen Tommer; 15 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Marvin Tucker. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, Kan., with Pastor Mike McGovney presiding. A memorial service will also be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, 2800 N. Van Buren, Enid, Okla. Private inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. Memorials may be made to Victory in the Valley in care of the mortuary.
