Golrty, Oklahoma - The funeral service for Charles Christian Boepple, 88-year-old Goltry resident, is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gail Edmison will officiate. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery.

Charles was born June 19, 1937, in Covington to Christian and Gladys (Weaver) Boepple and died Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in Oklahoma City. He attended Covington High School, graduating with the class of 1955. He then joined the United States Army, serving for two years.

Charles and his wife Frances moved to Goltry, Oklahoma, in 1969 where he worked at the Goltry State Bank for 42 years. His passion was farming, which he continued until his death.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Frances Boepple; two daughters, Penny and husband Rocky Bradley of Oklahoma City and Darla and Alan Moody of Norman, Oklahoma; five grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Wounded Warriors or Homes for Our Troops.
