Texarkana, TX - Carol Jean Posey married Willis Dale Posey July 24, 1954.
The daughter of Harriet and Kenneth Griesel, she was involved with Girl Scouts of America for many years, a member of Imo Neighbors Club and a seamstress and quilter. Carol enjoyed many forms of arts and crafts and was proud to represent Imo Neighbors Club each year at the Garfield County Fair. She was a member of Enid First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis; parents, Harriet and Kenneth; and brother, Ken Griesel.
Surviving are daughters, Dwana Dexter, Julia Fleshman, Sheri Posey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, John and Wayne Griesel.
Graveside remembrance is 10:30 a.m. November 26, 2025, at Enid Memorial Park Cemetery.
