Enid, Oklahoma - The graveside service for Billy Charles Patrick Cummings, 82, of Enid, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, in Calvary Cemetery, with Rev. Mark Mason officiating. Complete cremation is under direction of Brown-Cummings.
Billy was born July 28, 1943, to Bill and Irene Kenny Cummings and died December 31, 2025.
He earned a B.A. from St. Mary's Seminary in Missouri and a MA in English from DePaul University.
He worked at the Tucson, Arizona, newspaper before working at Lincoln Heritage Museum in New Mexico as researcher and docent.
Survivors are his sister Bea Parker and husband Mike; brother Joe Cummings and wife Becky; three nieces; and one nephew. Condolences may be shared at www.BrownCummings.com.
