Mass of Chistian Burial for Beatrice Moravec Allen Christensen, 100, will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Father Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Bea was born July 19, 1924, in Waukomis, OK, to Eddie and Bessie Walta Moravec.
She was a graduate of Waukomis High School and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in music education.
In 1947, Bea married Ted Allen and began her teaching career in Drummond, OK. Later, the couple moved to Pawnee Rock, KS, where they both taught in the public school system. They then moved back to Drummond, OK, and she continued teaching after her husband's sudden death in 1961.
She married Clayton Christensen in 1975, and after his death in 1987, she retired and moved to Enid.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Mary's Magdaline Study Club, Melody Girls, and volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital for many years.
Bea is preceded in death by her parents; first husband Ted; second husband Clayton. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Louis) Frazer of Guthrie, OK, Beth (Johnny) Hanna of Ramona, OK, and Ed (Sallie) Allen of Oklahoma City, OK; Clayton's children, Kay Pitt of Sonoita, AZ, and Robert Christensen of Drummond, OK; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dororthy Webb of Stillwater, OK, and Janice (John) Wurth of Wichita, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Daily Bread, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
