Enid, Oklahoma - Funeral services for B. Louise Lee will be at 2:30 on Friday at Anderson Burris.

Louise Lee was born on September 30, 1945, in Perryton, Texas, to Joel Leon Hoover and Grace Hoogendoorn Hoover, and passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on February 2, 2026.

Louise graduated from Beaver High School in 1963. She wed her husband, Gerry Lee, on May 7, 1965. Their marriage produced four children who loved her dearly: Brenda Louise Luskey, Jeffrey Wayne Lee, Kerri Marie Lee Abbott, and Sherri Rae Lee Best.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerry Lee, brothers Jerry Hoover and Troy Hoover, and sisters Noreen Lenz and Mary Ann Earls. Louise is survived her children, Brenda and her husband Eddie, Jeff and his wife Lori, Kerri and her husband Jeff, and Sherri and her husband Tommy; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Earle Hoover and Johnnie Hoover and sister Rose Marie Meyer.

Louise attended one semester of college at Northwestern and then began work at Midwestern Life. After marrying Gerry, she worked both alongside him and in the shadows. Louise managed the bookkeeping for the family businesses and greatly enjoyed the endless hunt for antiques for the Mini Mall. She was a dedicated homemaker and was a homeroom mother for her children's classrooms. Louise sewed clothes for her family and prepared home-cooked meals.

Louise also had an artistic side and loved to crochet, paint, read, decorate cakes, prepare chocolates, and even create wedding dresses. The artistry and fine-skill activities were halted when Louise was in a car accident in 1994 that left her in a halo after sustaining a broken neck.

As hard as it is to say goodbye, the kids are glad to know their parents are together again, and probably watching westerns in Heaven. The family wants to thank the amazing staff at The Arbors for the loving care given to Louise when she needed it most.
