Don Howe was born on July 24, 1931, in Bixby, Oklahoma, to Charlie and Gladys Howe. He grew up in Coweta, OK, where his father was a long-time Postmaster.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Louise of Eugene, OR; brother, Dean (Karen) of Edmond, OK; sons, Kent (Kathi) of Eugene and Kraig (Janet) of Eagle, ID; four grandchildren, Taylor (Hannah) of Warrenton, OR, Klista (Naveed) of Meridian, ID, Marissa and Julia of Eugene; one great-grandson, Leo of Warrenton, OR; his brothers-in-law, Donnie and Jerry of Ardmore, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends at Cascade Manor, Eugene, OR, and all across Oklahoma.
Don had a 40-year-long career with Oklahoma Gas & Electric in Enid, OK, where he and Louise raised their sons. He was a longtime Mason and member of Central Christian Church in Enid, OK.
