A memorial mass for Kay Goldstein, 68, Enid, is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Phillip Louis as celebrant.
Recitation of the Rosary is 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at the funeral home with Deacon Tony Crispo.
Cremation and arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Kay was born October 20, 1949, in Enid to Melvin Leroy and Bess Evelyn (Lunday) Hutchison and passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Enid.
Kay grew up in Enid and graduated from Memorial High School in 1967. She then attended NWOSU in Alva and received her teaching degree.
She married Brian Goldstein and they had two children. Kay taught English and social studies at Enid, Pond Creek, and Waukomis Schools. In 2009, she retired from Waukomis School and moved to Altus to be nanny and grandma.
She later moved back to Enid in 2012. Kay was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and was the organist there for many years. Kay loved to read and enjoyed music.
Kay is survived by her two children, Robbie Goldstein (Crissy) of Enid, and Jamie Hokett (Shane) of Altus; four grandchildren, Luke, Emily, Joshua and Jacob ; two brothers, Brad Hutchison and James Hutchison (Sherry), all of Oklahoma City; and a sister, Anne Gerszewski (Fran) of Enid; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mark.
