Earl Gilbert Krieg, age 79, lifelong resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma.
Earl was born on October 1, 1937 to John Michael Krieg and Sophie Emma Buerger Krieg in Ponca City, OK. In 1955, Earl graduated from Ponca City High school before attending NOC and ultimately receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from OSU. After college, Earl went to work for City Service/Sequoyah refinery, and ultimately Conoco, where he worked in the filter house and the lab, retiring after 34 years of dutiful service.
Survivors include his beloved brother Robert Krieg and wife Rena of Enid, OK; nieces and nephews: Mike Krieg and wife Terry of Stillwater, OK, Mark Combest and wife Pam of Enid, OK, Susan Kissinger and husband Glenn of Denver, CO, and Danny Krieg of Denver, CO; special great-nephew Carson Combest of Ponca City, as well as many other great nieces, great nephews, church family and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold John Krieg and his wife Violet, as well as his nephew David Krieg.
