Darlene's Story

Darlene Elliott passed away February 19, 2018. She was born to William H. And Edythe (Brockman) Sayles in Sheridan, Wyoming.
She was well known for her activism and volunteering. She served as director of the YWCA and the Sheridan County American Red Cross. Darlene was named Director Emeritus of the Sheridan Senior Center.
After the death of her husband, Russell Elliott, and failing health, she moved to Enid to be with family. She was a member of University Place Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Huhman (Anthony), and four grandsons, Jason (Renee) of Lowell, Arkansas, Joseph of Panama City Beach, FL, Jeremy (Tracy) and John (Joanna) of Enid. She had four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held later in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Donations may made in Darlene's name to University Place Christian Church, 2107 E. Broadway, or Hospice Circle of Love. Arrangements have been made with Amy Stittsworth Funeral Services.
