Graveside service for Beulah Pauline Jenkins, age 101, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Rev. Pat Sutherlin and Rev. Daren Roten officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 6:30 to 8 Monday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Beulah was born July 15, 1915, in Drummond, to George Oliver and Goldie Mae (Akin) Wamsley, and passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, in Enid.
Beulah grew up in and attended school in Drummond.
On March 7, 1939, she married Everett Jenkins, and they made their home in Enid.
She was a cook at the Henry House for over 15 years, until her retirement. Beulah was one of the first residents to move into Meadows Point Apartments, where she played in kitchen band and served on the residential council. She loved doing puzzles and word search and enjoyed the Forgiven Quartet. Beulah was a member of the Church of the Covenant.
Beulah is survived by her daughters, Linda Roten (Dempsey) of Capron and Glenda Anderson (Gene) of Waukomis; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967; her son Michael on April 20, 2012; 2 brothers; and her sister.
