Barbara Quillin, 98, went to her heavenly home on September 6, 2017.
The service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at the Lamont United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Riggs officiating. Interment follows in the Braman Cemetery, in Braman, Okla.

Barbara was born in rural Grant County near Deer Creek at her grandmother's home on June 15, 1919, to Herbert and Eunice ((Elmore) Heizer.
She served her Lord, her family and her community. She graduated from Deer Creek High School in the class of 1937, and was the class Valedictorian. Barbara worked as a photographer's helper.
Barbara married Cleo Quillin on Feb. 18, 1941. They resided in Ponca City after they were married.
They moved to Cleo's parents homestead in Salt Fork for 18 years. They lived in Lamont for 36 years. After Cleo retired, they farmed in Grant County. Barbara and Cleo moved to Golden Oaks in November 2001.
Barbara loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, photography, quilting, farming, gardening and flowers.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Cleo Quillin; two sons, Duane Leon Quillin and David Lynn Quillin; granddaughter, Sherry Marie Quillin; brother, Elmore Heizer; and sisters, Elsie Heizer Rea and Geneva Heizer Murrison.
Barbara is survived by her two grandsons, Michael Quillin, and Gregory and Julie Quillin; four great-grandchildren, Kyla, Brody, Morgan and Madison; daughter-in-law, Joan Quillin.
Memorials may be made to the Lamont United Methodist Church.
