Barbara's Story

Barbara R. Johnson was born Barbara Ruth Reeves in Vici, Oklahoma. She was a longtime resident of Auburn, California, and Enid, Oklahoma.
She graduated from Placer High School in Auburn, California, in 1947. She worked for Pacific Bell Telephone in Auburn, until she retired.
Barbara was a charter member of the Church of the Nazarene in Auburn and a member of the Maine Street Church of the Nazarene, Enid.
She is survived by four children, Milford Mirl Johnson Jr., Enid; Phyllis Bachilla, Cameron Park, California; Cyndi Zillyette, Park Hill, Oklahoma; and Lynette Johnson, Cameron Park, California; and siblings Dorothy M. Reeves, Charles Reeves, and Carolyn Carlyon. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Golden and Ethel Reeves; her husband of 50 years, Milford Mirl Johnson Sr.; two brothers, Larry Reeves and Ron J. Reeves; and sister, Darlene Potter.
Barbara R. Johnson will be buried next to her husband, in Newcastle District Cemetery, Newcastle, California.
The Celebration of Life will be in the spring, in Newcastle, California.
